Mayor Marianne Meed Ward

“It’s great news that we’ll be able to provide this extra level of service and had been intending to go in this direction for a long time. One of the silver linings of the circumstances we find ourselves in with COVID-19 is that some of the digital plans we’ve had at the City that had previously been on a backburner are now front and centre as we look to new ways to adapt. We’re looking forward to offering this new level of service.”

Heather MacDonald, Executive Director of Community Planning, Regulation and Mobility

“With the advancements that we have made since March, we are positioned with a new modern process that will continue beyond the current State of Emergency. This is a key milestone in the intention to create a City of Burlington online portal for development applications.”
