Halton FUTURES Summit is Coming June 2
About the Summit
This first innovation summit for Halton Region is jointly presented by Haltech and Halton Region Economic Development, and brings together leading global and mid-sized corporate innovators, high-growth tech startups, academic research leaders and investors to connect, collaborate and celebrate new technology products and services that are being made, developed and put to work in Halton region. The presentations will focus on the theme of “Building our Connected Future”, and highlight how new technologies in IT, digital media, smart hardware devices and advanced manufacturing are being leveraged to power the Internet of Everything, which is transforming our industries for the better and impacting the development of smart cities, transportation, healthcare, industrial manufacturing, energy and others. The full-day event will end with a networking cocktails reception followed by the first Halton FUTURES Innovation Awards.

9:00 – 4:30 pm is the Innovation Summit
Featuring an exciting lineup of speakers from global corporations, high-growth startups and technology leaders such as Siemens, Microsoft & Cloud3, Geotab, Hatch, Javelin, Sheridan College, CinemaSuite, Aethon Technologies and the Startup Spotlight showcase.
4:30 – 7:00 pm is the Innovation Awards Reception
Following the Summit, we announce the winners of the 1st Halton FUTURES Innovation Awards.
