BEDC and TechPlace partner with Mohawk College to bring resources and innovation to Burlington for ‘Mohawk Days at TechPlace’
September 7, 2018, Burlington, ON – Burlington Economic Development Corporation partners with Mohawk College to bring academic resources to Burlington monthly at TechPlace.
Mohawk Days at TechPlace provide a venue for businesses to meet with Mohawk College experts to better understand how Mohawk can help solve business problems, sponsor student projects, engage faculty expertise and provide labs to help commercialize their ideas.
On the second Tuesday of every month, Mohawk’s leaders are at TechPlace to discuss opportunities for collaboration and partnership between Mohawk students and faculty with local businesses. Mohawk’s diverse offerings include; The Agency, Community Employment Services, Engineering Technology, IDEAWORKS, Centre for Climate Change Management, Graduate Programs and Mohawk College Enterprise, rotating monthly.
